Ayahly is a specialized mobile application designed to bridge the gap between modern life’s challenges and classical Islamic wisdom. Unlike standard digital Qurans, Ayahly focuses on contextual reflection, allowing users to transform personal questions and emotional moments into thoughtful spiritual guidance using Qur'anic verses and the classical Tafsir of Ibn Kathir.
Most digital Qur’an apps are excellent at retrieval and poor at need. They will find a verse if you already know its number, which is no help to someone facing a decision, a loss, or a question they cannot phrase in Arabic.
Ayahly starts from the question instead. A user describes what they are facing; the app surfaces relevant verses alongside classical commentary from Ibn Kathir, with surah, ayah and tafsir source visible on every reflection. The framing is deliberate and consistent throughout the product: this is material for personal reflection, not a fatwa, and it never presents itself as a religious ruling.
That boundary drove the design more than any feature did. Sources are always cited, classical tafsir is shown rather than paraphrased, and the app collects as little about the user as it can, because people bring their hardest questions here, and the product had to earn that.
